LIBRARY

Libraries are the soul of every Institutions of higher learning. It is here that the students develop their own individual style of learning and reach out for more. The pursuance of excellence is a worthy goal for any student, scholar or academic. Keeping with this belief VPIT has spacious library with a good collection of books. 
Apart from books, the library subscribes to a number of Publications both National and International journals to keep the students abreast on developments of their interest as well as on general topics. Standard text books and books by authors of repute in all fields taught at the college are stocked. The college follows a policy of buying multiple copies of many of these books to make them available to a large number of students. Thus students are not likely to be handicapped for want of reference materials at any time. Study material is accessible via a computerized catalogue covering all collections in the college.

COMPUTER CENTER

Institute has established state-of-the-art computer centre equipped with latest version of branded systems to ensure one machine per student. In addition the computers are provided in students hostel to search knowledge at their leisure time. Internet facilities are available round the clock. All the machines are networked in Windows 7,Windows XP & Linux environment. All the latest software have been acquired.

WORKSHOP

The imposing specially designed workshops include Machine Shop, Fitting Shop, Welding Shop, Sheet Metal Shop, Carpentry Shop, Smithy Shop, Foundry Shop, Electronic & Electrical Shop. The acquisition of latest equipments and machines ensures basis Engineering skills with the help of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable faculty. 
Training students in a practical environment is a vital part of our academic plans, considering that the practical exposure is an inevitable aspect of a student’s overall development regarding subject understanding and related concepts. 
VPIT offers modern workshop facilities as an integral part of the course curriculum of all the departments. The machinery in our workshop is one of the most valuable assets in support of the diverse research and teaching activities. Our workshop has several training shops like Sheet metal, Welding, Foundry, Carpentry, etc. 
We also keep upgrading the machinery and equipments in our workshop to the latest industry standards to help students learn in a state of the art environment.

TRANSPORTATION

Route Buses are available to pick up the day scholar students in and around the city.

CAFETERIA

A hygienic, well-furnished and well-equipped cafeteria is available in the campus to provide food at nominal rates for the staff and students. The Cafeteria in the Campus is the hub of every student activity. A Dining Hall is provided for the day scholars students. The canteen sells a wide variety of hot and cold food and drinks at recess and lunch times and ensures that a range of healthy choices are available. 
The College Canteen is a large spacious area and a variety of refreshments and meals available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions and even work on assignments and projects.

CLASS ROOM

The classrooms at VPIT do not just create an atmosphere that is conducive to learning but in a sense nurture the quest for knowledge that the students possess. The original classrooms all seat 60 students. All classrooms are equipped with all modern teaching aids. These include electronic media such as multimedia notebooks, LCD & O/H projectors etc. There are also separate Seminar rooms, Audio-Visual rooms and seminar halls equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing facilities.

PLACEMENTS

Facilities made available to the students through Training & Placement Cell.

	To involve industry’s inputs in the form of expert lectures, short-term training for faculty members/ students, projects, etc.
	Arranging Campus Interviews of various organizations for final year students for their recruitments.
	Arranging guest lectures of Eminent Personalities from Industry for career counseling.
	Co-ordination for Industrial visits arranged by various departments.
	Co-ordinations with the various departments through T & P for arranging Technical Seminars. Etc.

HOSTELS

Hostel facility for Boys and Girls respectively is available in the Campus. The Hostel accommodation is on twin / triple sharing basis. Each Hostel has a Recreation Room with Television and Indoor Games facility.
